Tracie is passionate about helping individuals and families live their lives with intention and find meaningful ways to share their wisdom, values, stories, and generosity with loved ones. After serving more than 20 years as a corporate consultant to large financial companies, she set out to make it easier, more affordable and more meaningful for everyone to create and share their legacy. She launched Celebrations of Life in 2007 with the Legacy Journey® serving as a platform to help foundations and nonprofit organizations, senior living communities, and financial/estate/end-of-life planners integrate the Legacy Journey into their business models. She also trains and certifies independent Legacy Facilitators internationally, and speaks to a wide range of audiences about the importance of the Legacy Journey. Barry Baines, MD, Vice President

Barry K. Baines, MD, Vice President

Barry is a leading authority on ethical wills and pioneered their use in hospice and palliative care. He has authored the book, Ethical Wills, Putting Your Values on Paper, and several resources on the topic and his work has been featured nationally. Dr. Baines received his MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1975. He is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Barry continues to serve as a hospice medical director in addition to his role with Celebrations of Life.

David R. Woolley, Chief Software Architect

David has been a pioneer in online social media since before that term existed. In the early 1970s he created PLATO Notes, an online message board system that was the basis for the world’s first online community and the direct progenitor of Lotus Notes. He was also the co-creator of the world’s first online chat room. He has designed online conferencing facilities for many applications and built authoring tools for computer-based training. In recent years he has been a consultant in the field of web conferencing and social media software, and has held top leadership positions in several nonprofit organizations before joining Celebrations of Life in 2012.
