We have a choice to make today and going forward: either live with division, fear and anger or stand tall and actively choose to live our life on purpose.

There is much work to be done as we begin to move forward, but it cannot be about our personal agendas, political divides, racial intolerances or religious differences. Nor can we let the actions and beliefs of some individuals shape our personal legacies and how we will each be remembered. I am confident that together, shoulder to shoulder, we can create heartfelt and impactful solutions based upon love, grace, compassion, courage and resilience. We can also model appropriate behavior and inspire each other to stand as a positive force against any hatred, intolerance or negativity that may impact our loved ones, friends and those who most need our help. But it begins one by one, each of us making a decision, choosing to live our life on purpose.

Let’s move forward together in a positive and powerful way. Please join me with your thoughts, ideas and inspiration at: Life on Purpose – Living your life as you wish to be remembered

With hope and love in my heart,

Sharing a Life on Purpose Moment

I decided to share my morning with my beloved family and dear friends as I expressed how much I cherish them and how grateful I am that we are on this journey together. I then tried to create a moment of peace during these challenging and confusing times by enjoying my favorite jazz music and photos from this summer’s hiking and camping trip with my husband. Within seconds, I was able to recall the smell and feel of the ocean mist along the Oregon Coast, to bask in the serenity of Portland’s Japanese Gardens, to share in the magnificence of the Redwood Forests, and to revisit the awe of Crater Lake. I am now ready to take on a new day with a positive and productive spirit knowing there is much work to be done. And as these imagines linger in my mind, I know I can return to my place of peace at any time when the negativity or heaviness of the day tries to alter my path.

Wishing you and your loved ones, hope and peace today.

Tracie
